the following semester, your status and classes resume as if you had never left. At many schools, this process simply involves completing a form. For more information, contact the Career Counseling or Registrar at your college or university.
Can I arrive late or leave the Semester Project early?
Due to the critical training that occurs at the start of the Semester Project, you cannot arrive to the Semester Project late.
If you need to leave the Semester Project up to 1 week early for an unchangeable event, you may contact the Project Directors for consideration. Early departures must be cleared by both the Project Director and Disney.
Can I use a previous application for the Disney College Program?
Due to the unique nature and partnership of the Semester Project and the Disney College Program, you must apply for the Disney College Program portion of the Semester Project via the Semester Project application and interview (see the Application Process section for more information). Any previous interviews done with the Disney College Program do not apply for this unique opportunity.
Should I bring my car?
We highly recommend bringing a car if at all possible. Disney provides shuttle service from your housing to work and thus a car is not required. However, if possible, we recommend bringing a car to help in transportation for Project events, and your greater convenience. Parking at the housing complex is provided.
Can my family or friends come to visit me?
Being at WDW, we know that your family or friends may want to come visit you. However, we have discovered in the past that family/friend visits have greatly distracted students and hurt the Semester Project as a whole. Work and Semester Project activities cannot be missed. Thus, after work and project activities, you will have very little time to spend with your family if they were to visit. Thus, we highly discourage family or friends from visiting you over the Semester Project.
What does my student status need to be for eligibility?
For eligibility, the Disney College Program requires that an applicant is a full-time college student at the time of their application. Thus, a student must have completed at least one semester/quarter of college before participating in the College Program. Likewise, a college graduate is eligible for the College Program in the semester/quarter immediately following their graduation, but at no point after that. For more information, visit the Disney College Program website.
For further questions, feel free to email the Project Directors, Joshua Barta or Lindsey Parrott.

How do I take a semester off from my college/university?
As a participant in the Semester Project at WDW, you will be fully part of Disney’s internship program. Most colleges and universities have a simple program in which students doing an internship can put their student status and classes on pause for one semester. With this program, when you return to school
